I do not believe in Theocratic forms of government. Thus my own thoughts on spirituality are irrelevant when considering whether something should be punishable by the state or not. I don't believe that nurturing your spiritual well being is one of the functions of government. That is a function of the church and it is up to your church and whatever moral structures your belief system relies on to see after your spiritual needs.
