Youth you missed the most important part - we come to Jesus as we are but He wants to transform us to His image. He does not want us to remain overcome with same-gender lust and sexual behaviour but to help us be victorious. If we come with any sins and sinful dispositions (weaknesses) He wants to change us by His Spirit working in us. In your situation, I would stay away from the temptation of being around peole with the same weakness until you have experienced much more healing and you are much stronger than you are now. What you are considering doing could very well be very spiritually disasterous.
