If you want to play semantics all your life, sure.
Because being a sexually active gay, means your a sinner, so technically your correct, it's not contradictory to be a sinner, and be a christian.

However, pretending there is nothing wrong with having gay sex, is not only foolish, it's hypocritical.

It's is CLEARLY stated that it is not meant to be that way. And if you choose to believe that; that statement is not God-breathed, then you end up playing pick and choose with what you want to believe. And if you do that you might as well throw it all away.

So semantics are the only thing holding together that statement.
