In Isaiah 11:

7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.

In Isaiah 65:

20 "Never again will there be in it
an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not live out his years;
he who dies at a hundred
will be thought a mere youth;
he who fails to reach [a] a hundred
will be considered accursed.

23 They will not toil in vain
or bear children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be a people blessed by the LORD,
they and their descendants with them.

Both these seem to point to the continuing existence of children in 'heaven'. Perhaps the language is poetical, or perhaps we should take it literally.

On the other hand I remember the parallel that a preacher once came up with: suppose a child asks you about how wonderful sex is. 'Is it as good as chocolate?'. 'Can you eat chocolate while you are having sex?'. To him chocolate is the best thing that he can imagine - so can't conceive of anything that wouldn't be improved by its presence. Is it not likely that the reality of heaven is so much more than we can conceive of that adding boys won't actually make a difference - hard though that is to conceive of for us!
