Daddy issues effect lots of people differently. The only thing that would have to happen for it to be likely is that the numbers of BL's however small, have increased with the numbers of boys who have gone without adequate affection from their fathers.

Like stated in another post, I do not believe that you can accurately assess the number of BL's simply by looking at the number of REPORTED cases of sexual abuse.
