when i see my syf, who is ten. i dont see a child. i see almost a peer...like an equal. when someone else sees him, im sure they see him as i see a toddler or a baby. does anyone else feel this way? i find this happens to me especially after i get to know kids 9+...like i forget they are kids.

yes i am aware that my syf is a kid and has all the vulnerability of a kid and im the adult and all that other stuff.
