If you would like to do something like this go ahead. The chatroom is currently open. Make a post here saying "Meet me in the chatroom at ...." whatever time and day you choose. Use the time on the site as a base, people can look at what time it is locally and what time the site says to decide if they can make it. You could also organize such a thing via email.
