What's difficult about following Jesus? I fear you have fallen into the trap of thinking that the hate-promoting, dogma-driven denominations are the "Real Thing".

I was a boylover long before I became a Christian, and for a long time I thought as you did - that God and I wouldn't get on - but I now realise that God really does love me the way I am. He did make us this way, after all!

If you are finding that reconciling BL and religion is "torture", then you have the wrong religion or you misunderstand what boylove really means.

If you feel that you cannot, honestly, accept the existence of the Creator, that's ok. But please don't dismiss the idea on the basis of an assumption.
