perhaps you could explain a bit why abstaining from visiting this forum might help you in your relationship with God. For me, actually, it seems the other way round. Communication with brothers is such an important part of God's plan for me and I do find this difficult sometimes.
I can easily understand how you might want to go on retreat however: withdrawing into the desert can be essential too. I can also understand that you might want to turn off the internet altogether for 40 days. That would be a good thing for me to do as well I am certain! . . . and how difficult! So perhaps that is what you meant; in which case, my prayers certainly go with you!
