Thanks for clarifying about the cuddling, and how it is more accepted in your culture. That makes sense! If it's not something that is perceived as inappropriate (or necessarily romantic), then maybe it's just fine.

If we are talking about heterosexual "love and loss", I totally agree! I would LOVE to "fall in love" (even if it ends in heartache). But, from my perspective, believing as I do that my desires are a result of sexual brokenness, to let myself fall in love with a boy would be "feeding" that aspect of my nature that I believe is broken. The things that I feed tend to grow, and the things that I don't feed tend to fade away. It's a debatable point, and I can see both sides, but that's my perspective (for what it may be worth :-).
