I'd be willing to be that it would be easier to guess the percentage of people who blindly hate us or consider us monsters, than the ones who don't. (Although I guess that was kind of a silly statement because if you know the percentage of those who hate us, then you would automaticly know the percentage of those who don't. But you know what I mean.) It's easy actually. Take, for example, our latest poster, "I hate you". He has made it quite clear how he feels about us AND how he has reached this conclusion. I doubt he makes any kind of distinction between celebate BL's and those who are not. In fact, I doubt he even KNOWS that there are BL's who choose celebacy as a way of life. And if he reads this post, I would also be willing to bet that he will have an impossible time believing that this is true. Is he typical of what we can find outside of this forum? Probably.

I think you are right, people might be more sympathetic towards us if they could know that some of us are not the evil monsters they have been lead to believe we are. But how could this be possible? What can we do to get this message out? I think it's one of our purposes as Christian BL's to try to find an answer to this. What do you think?

I think anyone can change public oppinion if they try hard enough. I'm sure there are plenty of examples of this in history. Why can't we be among them? Why not?

Ok...I'm sorry I've answered your questions with more questions. Hey, you've got me worked up today and I love it. Both you AND "I hate you"...in different ways, of course. I just wish I could stick around to see what happens between now and Tuesday evening. Oh well, it will be something to look forward to, I guess.
