These (amongst many others)are some of the reasons we do not attempt to engage in romantic/sexual realtionships. The psycho-social reasons behind these things is another constant source of debate around here, meaning that in other cultures such relationships are/have been acceptable (ancient Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, certain tribal cultures, etc.) so it is more of a matter of the society in which we live (a real thing to be sure) that makes the relationship impossible.

But yes you are absolutley right, given our culture and society, it is impossible for an adult to have a healty romantic/sexual relationship with a child or young teen. Hence our abstinence.
