Hi Forgiven,

Long time no post...

I'd be interested to know whether you think your increasing age of attraction is related to the "emotional growing up" that people sometimes talk about in relation to gays becoming "straight". In other words do you see it as a process that might eventually end in being less attracted to guys at all, and more attracted to women? Would you see this as desirable, and if so, do you think going through the older lads phase was necessary at all? Or are you content just to be "gay" if you call it that?

When I first began to think of myself as a boylover, I resisted any attraction to over 16s because I didn't want to think of myself as gay. But surprisingly it's as I've given in and admitted that I do quite like the look of some over 18s that I've also found the idea of sharing my life with a woman more attractive than it used to be.

I suppose this is where labels are unhelpful.
