My favourite - at least in the sense of the one that has the maximum emotional effect on me - is 'There is a higher throne'. The power for me is the reminder that we are going to a better place, where the pains of the present will be over.

The words of the third verse are focus for me

And there we'll find our home,
Our life before the throne;
We'll honor Him in perfect song
Where we belong.
He'll wipe each tear-stained eye...

As a someone who enjoys singing, the singing before God is a something special

But the phrase 'where we belong' is the real choker. As a BL, I struggle to fit into a world where we are hated and despised. One day that will no longer be the case - we WILL belong. and our tears at our struggles, loneliness and aggravations will be wiped away forever.
