We're all struggling

if not in the sexual area, it's somewhere else.

Don't get me wrong: I have NO doubt that BLs can play an entirely positive role in the life of a boy. That can be a very intimate, tactile sort of relationship. But for me there is a clear barrier that we can't cross in terms of sexual involvement. Perversely where that barrier is secure, we are actually MORE free to be tactile, because he knows that the intention ISN'T sexual.

"It doesn't make any sense that God would create beings with a sexual orientation then place them into a society with rules against it that God created."
This comment is equally true of all disabled people; the more profound the disability, the more they will struggle. This creation is a mess, and paedophilic orientations are a part of that. Does blindness 'make sense'? Or any form of disease?

There's a sense in which the world is a test. Equally it's true to see it as a place of preparation for something far more wonderful, in the context of which our present sufferings will appear totally unimportant. We have the choice of looking to our everlasting future with God, and coping with what we've got to do here, or we can abandon that hope and live as though there is no God who will 'wipe away every tear'. Or as Paul puts it: ' we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Rom 5:3-5). Given that Jesus suffered, we can expect to do likewise.
