I find myself in the exact same position. I don't deny the sexual aspect of my feelings, and I understand that is the biggest problem of being a BL. If it wasn't for that issue, there would be no problem. Nobody cares if you want to spend time with boys and help them grow into mature, responsible, well rounded adults. The issue comes with what you expect in return. If you want to be involved with a boy as completely as any "normal" man would with a "normal" woman, all aspects of a relationship are to be addressed. I don't have any advice, but I do empathize with your feelings and you are not alone.
