I disagree with what Marc said. I think it's fine to be in a relationship if that is something that you desire and are comfortable with. It sounds like you really love her, so it's not as if you are being untruthful to her even if you use that word. Sexual attraction is but a small part of love and I don't see anything wrong with pursuing a relationship without the sexual attraction. I think it's immoral when people do the opposite, pursue sex under the guise of truly caring about the person.

By the way, most of us here are not Catholic. Of those who have expressed affiliation with one denomination or another, I recall there being members who are: Catholic, Church of England, Methodist, and Jehovah's Witness. Others have expressed preferring non-denominational churches. The Catholic faith is only one brand of Christianity and does not account for a majority of our members. What unites us is our desire to live Christ-like lives, the paths we have chosen for doing that vary.
