I believe what I posted below is far more important and you should seek that first. A boy is not going to magically make you happy and, in fact, your negative feelings might wind up being an obstacle that prevents any possible YF from actually liking you. You need to find some level of happiness first. But once you have done that, if you are still lacking boys in your life and are ready for it, do not ignore organized programs. There national/international organizations that are worth checking out, for example: Scouting (goes by various names depending on where you live) Big Brothers / Big Sisters Boys and Girls Club YMCA and there are many regional or local organizations as well as many church programs. |
