I think the bible plays the biggest part in figuring this out, followed closely by the prompting of the holy spirit, and much further down the list, our own intellect.

Although there are certainly strong arguments on both sides regarding the morality, or lack thereof, of same sex intergenerational sexual relationships, I think such questions are almost entirely of an academic nature and of very little value to us today. I find it very difficult to believe that God would approve of you living a lifestyle that turns you and the boy you love into outlaws and creates situations where you must lie and deceive in order to protect yourself from the consequences of your illegal acts. I also believe it is important for the mental development of the boy that there be clearly defined boundaries in regards to the status of your relationship (you are friends, not lovers and there is a clear distinction).
