Isn't your finding of a community supportive of your love a miracle? Pray for us all as we pray for you.

It's not easy to distinguish miracles from coincidences, but here's something that happened to me and you can decide for yourself.

Not long after we founded the Church of Jesus Among the Teachers, I happened to go to the Holy Land. I lit candles and said prayers for many people in many churches there.

Our church, as you can see from its name, is dedicated to the Boy Jesus in the same way as my original childhood home church was dedicated to St. Paul. Just a regular church, but with a special dedication. This isn't a novel idea - in fact, there's a Basilica of the Adolescent Jesus in the town of Nazareth in Israel, run by the Catholic Salesian order. It's just up the hill from where this story takes place.

One of our members had very severe chronic post-surgical pain to the point where he said he couldn't bear it and was coinsidering suicide, after many medical interventions failed to help.

I said prayers for him in a few places in the Holy Land. When I got home, I found out that his pain had completely vanished one day. When I checked the time, it was just about exactly when prayers being said for him in the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth and the adjacent Church of St. Joseph. This church is built over the traditionally identified workshop of Joseph, where Jesus as a boy learned carpentry, and there is an exceptionally beautiful painting of the young Jesus there, as you can see by scrolling down at -http://www.craiguselmancpa.com/Holy_Land/HL20060619.htm

Why would the Lord wait until prayers were said in the boyhood home of Jesus?

I think it's a sign of God's love to boylovers everywhere.
