I couldn't resist after I spent a few times watching this video myself.

The footage shown in the video is indeed the lead singer (Wes Scantlin) interacting with his son.

The kid's name is Jordan Scantlin, and the song was written based on his experiences. He was about 4 when this was filmed, and so that makes him 13 at the moment, I believe.

He was really adorable younger, and he has grown into still being relatively attractive, though I think he could do with a good haircut. He's currently started making appearances on stage with his father during concerts, especially for whenever they play "Blurry" (he's a pretty darn good guitar player himself, from what I've seen)

But I noticed those things as well, Chris, that they had to be really close, based on their times together.

I love Puddle of Mudd, and honestly that whole genre of music... But I gained a whole new appreciation for them and this song because of the video.
