heheh...I had a slightly similar situation the other day: after sunday service, as people began to gather in little groups and talk and whatnot I headed for the pastor's guitar and sat down to play a little. Almost immediately this kid comes up to me and starts telling me he plays guitar too, and I go 'oh, really?' after which he says 'yeah!' gives me a rather blank stare. I froze in stupor and he kinda just went away. He hasn't approached me since. The sad part is I really wanted to make a connection and just couldn't (long sigh...).
