The author of that book has participated here on and off since nearly the beginning of cblf. She tends to participate for awhile then disappear for a few years then come back, same with BC. I have read the book and it is interesting to read but it is also very important to keep in mind it is one perspective of a person who is not a BL and it is all fictional. Yes it is a novel and this is always the case with novels but I don't want someone (particularly a non BL) reading it and thinking we are all like any character in the book. Too often we are painted in stereotypes. The author does do a decent job of fleshing out the characters to not make them stereotypes though.
