Obsession vs. love

There is a huge difference between love and obsession. I've experienced both at different times of my life. With what little info I have, I would say that although you may love your YF, you are also obsessed over him. While love may bring its share of pain, it also brings much joy. Obsession ALWAYS brings pain with joy coming only when you're satisfying your obsession. And even then the joy is tinged with the pain of the knowledge that your time together will eventually end. The only way I know of getting over an obsession is to busy yourself with other things and TRY to think on other things. And BTW. If you post on a public forum you are saying you want feedback, If you only want feedback that makes you feel good you should post your own replies. Dakota |
