You only have two serious things to watch out for: 1) getting caught by your girlfriend, which usually happens to guys when they are on the computer and the gf walks in on them (sometimes they're asleep with the computer on) or 2) putting info onto BL sites that connects firmly with your real-life identity, so that online vigilantes expose you. I'm glad to see that JimmyJ037 is not used on any other site. The common practice is, never cross-connect identifiers between BL and non-BL sites, including nicknames, email addresses and chat identifiers.

If you don't use secure privacy software already, you can go to the link below and download CCleaner for the military-standard wiping of any temporary files and browse records your computer may make. That's so you never need worry about taking the compy into a repair shop.

(I am assuming in that last statement that you don't deliberately collect potentially embarrassing or incriminating visuals.)
