Personal legalisms

Some recent events in my life have caused me to make a list of rules to help keep myself from temptation around boys (more accurately, around my YF). They're what Mark Driscoll calls personal legalisms, because they're rules for me to stick to, but not to impose upon others, who are tempted in different ways. That said, most of us on this board are tempted in at least some similar ways, so I wonder if anyone has some interesting rules or advice on the topic.
