Yes, DNA testing has shown that police officers with wrong ideas, combined with the death penalty sponsored by enthusiastically retributive states, was a natural set-up for mass murder of the innocent.

Fortunately, many people managed to appeal and appeal until DNA testing could exonerate them. Who knows how many innocent died, though.

Now they'd like to do it all over again with paedophiles.
