I would have no problem talking to the police if I knew I wasn't a suspect in a case, nor would I ever in any way be a suspect. However, you would still have to wonder if, by some wierd twist of fate, or maybe by something you might have said that might be taken the wrong way, you could still wind up incriminating yourself. I don't know, things have gotten way out of hand with our legal system in some ways. I saw some pretty outragious stuff in just the relatively short time I was involved with the law.
