If you read "The Book" by Alan Watts you will encounter the view that nothing should be a noun. Everything is really a dynamic of some kind. Nouns are just our artificial freeze-frames of those dynamics.

Of course, linguistically, you do have to start somewhere. A word is an ongoing bargain between multiple people and it makes something of a cat's cradle amongst them all. Which is always changing as cat's cradles do.
