| well it isnt quite the way I see it but I think you have a point: certainly about the sexual repression required by priests coupled with the powerful position and many solitary moments . . . the absence of women in the church is, I think, another important factor. Women in the catholic church play a very strange subsidiary role which is quite unlike the rest of the world . . . I often pray for a fundamental change here. |
