It's one thing to be disturbed by the story. On the other hand, to worry about camping yourself because of this exceedingly rare event, amplified by the news media -- that's chicken-little stuff. There have always been oddball maniacs and there always will be. We just hear about them all these days, whereas in the olden days, we had no idea who was ax-murdering whom in distant lands. |
