I have my doubts about early sexualisation being connected to sexualities like Youth's. I didn't have a sexual experience until I was 21 and I am as tbl-lbl as they come. My good friend K, on the other hand, had sex with boys relentlessly from age 9 on, was especially thrilled by seducing a 17 year old when he was 10, and now has no interest in boys whatsoever - he's married to a fellow his own age, and his previous bf was considerably older than he.

I think it's just that BLs who happen to have been sexual early think that that's how they 'caught' it. I think they're wrong. But on the other hand, as I said in my essay that's reprinted at *http://www.cjat.org/ipb/index.php?showtopic=18 , I think that traumatic events like rape at a very young age (4 - 5 -ish) CAN lead to development of child-oriented sexuality as a sort of fetish development. That's an unusual case, though, not the norm for BLs. There have been many polls of peoples' experiences done at many BL sites and while I don't have the statistics in hand, there are plenty of BLs who had zero childhood sexual experience.
