As you may or may not know, I am an uncontrollable foodie. As I was cruising through some of my cook books this weekend, I came across this recipe. I dont know if youve ever heard of this but it is new to me. It sounds good and the title was, shall I say, interesting. I thought you might like to see it or maybe even try it. I think I will, it sounds delicious. Poached Eggs Blackstone (6 servings) Have ready: 6 Poached Eggs Saute, then mince: 3 Slices of bacon Reserve the drippings then cut: 6 slices tomato, ¼ inch thick Season them with: Salt and white pepper Dip the slices in flour and saute them in the bacon fat. Sprinkle with the minced bacon. Cover each slice with a poached egg. Pour Hollandaise Sauce over the eggs and serve. Doesnt that sound delicious? Bet you didnt know you could taste good! ![]() |
