BTW. The example you gave of Christianity being promoted by those who invested their whole lives in it is EXACTLY my point. If all I had to go on were the opinions of those who invested so much in that belief, I would be at the head of the line of skeptics, as should we all. I never said arguments posed by those who are biased should be rejected outright. What I SAID was that arguments posed by those who aren't biased carry more weight. And I really don't enjoy having to repeat myself. Twice.
