Since I was the one that started this debate let me just interject something. No one was attempting to demand your acceptance of alternate views, my only goal in this was to debate whether or not what we believe is even true.

Now, you claim that Robert-I has a bias because he's gay but you openly express that you are only willing to listen to his opinion if he was or if someone who wasn't gay was giving it. I find that anyone and everyone has the right and should question and ask questions about that which will have eternal ramifications and only when there is no doubt should they cease from questioning. It is better to question so that the wrinkles of our faith are ironed out which will then leave us without doubt than it is to have doubt and think we are walking in faith(where this is doubt, there is no faith).

Again, nothing has turned into an argument, having a healthy debate about things we believe is good and as long as we do it in love than there(in my opinion) aren't any problems. I like debating because it will get me to the truth and the truth is my main focus(Jesus is the Truth).

It is written that you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Well there could be some people trapped by a lie and may need to hear or read the truth so that they may also share in our freedom. Also, there could be some things that hold me from living life more abundantly as Christ said because I don't know the truth. I want the whole truth and nothing but the truth and the option to even disagree with it not because I believe it's wrong but because I may not like it. I believe that is one of God's greatest characteristics. He never forces us one way or the other but tells us the truth and allows us to decide for ourselves whether or not we will believe it.
