The New International Version made a serious translation blunder with "homosexual offenders" for malakoi. Only the KJV has a reasonably accurate translation of this passage, except that very few people in western countries today are familiar with the phenomenon embraced by "sodomites and catamites."

The only way to come close in accurate modern English is to say "rough trade" for arsenokoitai ("male-fuckers") -- there is no non-slang expression that refers to this category of hetero male who likes his piece of boy ass, to put it bluntly -- and "hustler" or "generally available male hole," to be blunt, for "malakoi."

The 19th century scientific classification "homosexual" does not refer to this phenomenon, which involves male-male sexual almost entirely conducted among heterosexuals.
