It is clear that there is a good scriptural argument for both sides, and the example of I Cor 5 offers clear evidence that Paul is prepared to call for the separation of some sexually immoral people from the church. Beyond a certain point I am happy to say within the context of this board 'live and let live' (I'd be less happy about this in a local church context), but it is important that both sides understand there are good reasons for the positions - a situation I think we have achieved.
