I would argue that a slave revolt is almost always illegitimate. Your history of the emancipation of the slaves is... strange; apart from Haiti all the slaves in the Western Hemisphere were freed as a result of the action of governments, not primarily as a result of their actions. For me the logic of supporting slave revolts must lead to a willingness to take violent action against abortion clinics these days (taking a high view of the human rights of the unborn child). I'm not prepared to do that, so I'm not prepared to say that I would endorse slave revolts.
