Just a thought - yes forgiveness after repentance is the beginning of our relationship with Jesus,Father and the Holy Spirit. But the main thought is how often we define ourselves by our weaknessess and sinful nature rather than defining ourselves by who we are from our Father's perspective - forgiven, washed in the blood of Jesus, new creatures in Christ, accepted in the beloved, sons and daughters of the one and only God - creator of everything. Praise Him for His love for us.
