Forgiveness is such an important part of being a Christian, we are to be like Jesus and that is what he came to earth to do for us. He said a very powerful statement Matthew 6:15 "But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." I have found that this can be a hard thing to do at times but it's not a request it is something that the Lord expects from us. Thank you Chris for sharing that part of your life in this devotional and pointing out just how important forgiveness is for us to have in our hearts.
