Every word in Scripture has a context.
Love... and particularly God's love... manifests in different ways depending on circumstances and situations. To say that every face of a diamond is the whole diamond would be a mistake. The diamond, like love, has many faces that work together to make the whole but each have their own distinctive direction and shape. God's love is therefore jealous (on one face) AND not jealous (on another). Love in this passage is focused on MERCY. When God is focused on mercy then He is not at all jealous. He's SO not jealous that he's willing to surrender His own Son for the sake of people who are in rebellion against Him. In other passages the focus is on God's JUSTICE. At such times God is VERY jealous. He's so jealous that He's willing to condemn the wicked who reject Him, especially those who reject the gift of His Son. There is no contradiction here. Scripute is seeking to put in human words the character of a God that defies our examination and understanding. If our starting point is that God is both good and righteous, that He is never unfair or unjust, then we can better understand what such passages which speak of things like His jealousy CANNOT mean. For instance, God is never petty or fickle or unwilling to share. Clolibre, I gather from some of your posting that you have been hurt by some of the teachings you've had forced upon you. Please let me encourage you not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. The message of Scripture is often twisted by the enemy to the hurt of others, nevertheless the true word of God to you is to be found therein and really He does love you so much more than you could ever imagine.
