So, we have discussed this issue plenty of times over the years. But I'd like to get a snapshot of where we are with all of the new members who have come in, all the people who have gone, and those of us whose opinion has changed over the years.

I don't want this one to become a big debate thread, so let's limit responses to only the answer and no more than a little bit of commentary.

I have split it up into multiple questions in an attempt to cover the full gamut of possible responses.

Q1. Is it ever morally acceptable for an adult to have sex with a pre-pubescent child in modern western cultures?

Q2. Would having sex with a pre-pubescent child be morally acceptable if the culture were different? (perhaps if it grew to become culturally acceptable)

A. Yes
B. No
C. I'm undecided

Q3. Is having sex with a pre-pubescent child in modern western culture spiritually accetable? (ie. acceptable to God, not sinful, etc.).

A. Yes
B. No
C. I'm undecided

Q4. Would having sex with a pre-pubescent child be spiritually acceptable if the culture were different?
A. Yes

The reason I said "is it ever" in the first question is because I wanted to avoid answers of "only if...". Such an answer would be a "yes" because of the "is it ever" nature of the question. However, be reasonable about this, I'm aware that most people would say it would be morally ok if someone were threatening to kill the both of you if you don't do it, but that's not what I mean by "is it ever", you don't need to account for such bizarre scenarios.
