Yes they do, the leadership really would like to educate their congregation about this. They want them to know that only a small percentage act out on their sexual feelings and that the majority of them are fine upstanding law abiding citizens. Their goal is to combat what the media has done by making us all look like monsters that just want to rape kids. The leadership knows about the problems they face in doing this but feel it is something that needs to be addressed because they know that there are many in their own congregation that are pedophiles that need help and support. I think things will work out OK although I do know that it will be difficult, but the leadership and I are willing to do this so we can help people that are struggling with this. And I was asked to help head this project and get it going so if anyone has ideas material or anything that would help I would really appreciate the help.
