This often happens in a thread: we forget the original context. I agree with everything you say here. There is no doubt that we are called to wholeness: being, as you say,"I am most alive when I am me all of me and not just what's acceptable to the rest of the world". God sees things that noone else can see, yes. But you just need to remind me of the context when you say at the top 'my reason is . . . '. Your reason for what? Do you mean your reason for doing something or saying something or both?
