out of 20 odd years of marriage I had 16 brilliant years... and 4 really tough ones and yeah... we got on the verge of divorce... and because things have yoyo-ed back and forward so much in recent years... I'm hesitant to boast about how things are right now... but things are GREAT!

My wife has come to, what appears to be a place of genuine acceptance. And she's founding it in God and not in me... which is a double plus. HE won't let her down.

We are spending time together and some of that wonderfulness we enjoyed all those early years is returning. She's also made room in our family for my yf, making an effort to get involved with him... I'm so grateful to her for that.

At the moment sex is hard for us... but we are even having a go at that with good attitudes.

Sex will always be a HUGE problem in our marriage... but that only proves Eldad's point I think. Even with a problem as large as this... the benefits of marriage can be most worthwhile and excellent. The fact that my wife and I are sorting things out just goes to show that whilst difficult... such a marriage is both possible and fruitful.

At the end of the day, I love my wife and she loves me. God is taking care of the rest. Currently I am VERY happy.
