1) Voluntary work opportunities. Certainly here there are organisations that point people to places looking for volunteers

2) Job training - I got out of that mess by doing a government scheme to be trained as a computer programmer

3) Veterans organisations. As a medical discharge from the forces, they are usually very willing to help you find opportunities to progress your life.

4) Helping at church / looking for ministry opportunities there

5) YWAM / OM
