This brings to mind an episode of that sitcom with the olsen twins. The name escapes me at the moment. The woman who was going to be the twins babysitter/nanny told the father that if she thought there was something he should know, she would tell him. But she wasn't going to be a spy for him and tell him everything the twins confided. I would tell my yf the same thing. I will not be a snitch, but I will also not let you do anything that will ultimately hurt you.
