As long as it's relatively easy to live a 'good life'. Oh, but it's NOT because Jesus said that the way was narrow and that the righteous are few.

Or maybe he just said that to say that it is easy to fall into sin. This makes a lot more sense.

If the lake of fire IS a place where people are tormented forever and ever then I would spit on the streets of heaven. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near a sadistic torturer who, being all powerful, would refuse to silence the suffering of His own children.

So basically, I have to go about my life KNOWING that my fellow human being and MEMBERS OF MY OWN FAMILY will be DESTROYED. It would ruin my life to live in a state of constant paranoia about everyone I meet. Call that love? Call that peace? I'd tell them that they'd be going to hell but oh no, that would be messing with their free will.

Why do preachers go around telling people they'll burn in hell and must repent, and then go on about the beauty of free will? HYPOCRITS! If we REALLY DO make a 'free choice' to go to hell (however the heck that works) then WHY DON'T THEY STOP PREACHING? They're TAKING AWAY your free will! It's like putting a gun to someone's head, telling them to do something and then adding "But it's a free choice!"

This is why, as soon as we introduce the afterlife, Christianity is so full of contradictions! I mean what the heck?

And what do I want to inherit the kingdom of heaven for, what good is that if the wicked don't get a second chance? God is GOD, G - O - D, how CAN he not save everyone?

Sorry, getting emotional.
