This reminds me of a scene in the movie "Dutch." Ed O'Neill travels to a swanky prep school to pick up the son of his girlfriend. On the trip home, the spoiled kid gives Ed a really hard time with his snooty attitude and insults. After putting up with it for awhile, Ed says, "Well, at least I can buy my own breakfast. Can you?" The next scene shows them in a diner with Ed chowing down and the kid looking morose with only a glass of water in front of him, lol.
