I'm sorry we are talking at cross-purposes here because we are defining the word 'pedophile' in different ways.
When I used the word pedophile I mean it only to be applied to those people who specifically molest children. It's just not the right word to use for people who have an attraction only although I know it gets used like that (and on this board as well I'm sad to say). This seems to me to be playing the game by 'their' rules - and by 'them' I mean our loving public and by the legal authorities.
In fact I think it might be worth opening up a thread about this and I feel steamed up about it enough not to worry about stirring up the hornets nest.
